Session Title: The Gig Economy and the 2016 Election— Who Will Win?

The gig economy has a problem: worker employment. Should this new generation of workers be considered company employees or 1099 contractors, and what kind of rights should they have? Zach will discuss how putting workers in charge of their reputation legitimizes and helps the p2p marketplace go mainstream. Hear about new workers’ rights, creating a trust infrastructure, changes on-demand leaders can make to work with lawmakers, and the science of reputation.
