Session Title: Activating Entrepreneurship and Fashion Innovation Downtown

GRID110 is a nonprofit economic and community development organization focused on activating the startup ecosystem in Downtown Los Angeles. We support startups during the most critical stage of their growth cycle by connecting them to office space, mentors and resources. Join us as we showcase the current fashion tech startups within our inaugural incubator program.

Meet the companies within GRID110's space:

Casetify allows you to personalize your Apple Watch band and phone accessories with Instagram images, and artisan designed styles.

ShapeShifter uses software to reduce the labor costs of producing fabrics, leathers, and metals to make the industrial textile process more efficient.

SimpleTux is a state of mind. Stylish online tux rentals.

Team Tassy works to eliminate poverty in Haiti by placing families into jobs. Their sister company Thread, turns trash into fabric, and employs Team Tassy's families.

Vrai & Oro offers beautiful fine-jewelry essentials without the retail markup. Made in LA, and sold online-only, direct to consumers.

Special Message from the Host Company to Attendees:  There is a garage entrance on Olive, but parking in the building can be very pricey so we don't recommend it. There are two alternative options. There is a cash lot next to the building on the corner of Olive and 5th. Or park with the LUXE App. If you've never used LUXE, it's a mobile valet service. Download the app and put in the address before you start out.  When you arrive, they'll meet you at your car and park it for you.  If you use the code GRID110, its FREE for the first use. Upon entering the building, please check-in with security. We suggest arriving 10-15 minutes early to allow ample time for parking and check-in.
